Brack.Alltron Partners with Nomagic for Warehouse Automation
Brack.Alltron Case Study
How Nomagic Empowered Brack.Alltron with Cutting Edge Warehouse Automation
Revolutionising e-commerce fulfilment on Switzerland's second largest e-commerce platform
When Brack.Alltron, Switzerland's second-largest e-commerce platform, sought a smarter way to handle their growing operational demands, they turned to Nomagic. Facing the challenges of high labour costs, diverse inventory, and weekend order peaks, Brack.Alltron needed a solution that combined efficiency, precision, and scalability.
Nomagic delivered a transformative warehouse automation system tailored to Brack.Alltron's unique needs. Through innovative technologies like justPick and justPack, the partnership optimised fulfilment processes, seamlessly adapted to dynamic order volumes, and empowered Brack.Alltron to stay ahead in a competitive market. This is the story of how automation unlocked new possibilities for e-commerce success.
Technical Challenges
Diverse itemset
Brack.Alltron offers a wide range of consumer goods, which poses a challenge for picking. An order can contain multiple SKUs, each of which may require a different tool for picking. Moreover, the items change depending on the season, which the solution has to be able to adapt quickly to deliver high performance all year round. Apart from the high speed of the robot itself, we’ve installed supplementary hardware such as the item pusher to maximize the solution performance.
Divided bins
Goods in the ASRS are stored in bins that may be divided into up to 8 compartments. Such small volumes require careful and precise maneuvering, without impacting the overall cycle time.
Dynamic warehouse operations
Brack.Alltron maintains a competitive edge by constantly innovating on the warehouse processes. With frequent changes, the picking capability has to be flexible and resilient towards new item storage processes.
Nomagic robots have become indispensable to our operations, running autonomously even during nights and weekends.”

Benefits
Complete automation of outbound processes
With a clear vision for warehouse automation, Brack.Alltron is at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge technologies throughout its warehouse operations. Nomagic, covering Order Picking and Order Packing use cases, enabled the customer to turn this part of the vision into reality.
Space constraints
Fitting within the operational environment at the customer warehouse was severely constrained due to limited availability of space near the ASRS. Nomagic delivered a highly compact station, enabling the customer to continue standard warehouse operations while guaranteeing safety of the staff.
High labour costs
Overcoming Monday peaks
With orders coming in over the weekend, when the warehouse operations are limited, the customer experiences significant concentration of work on Mondays. Brack.Alltron can comfortably manage this peak by introducing additional robot shifts to process orders on Sundays and early Monday mornings.

Highlights
Planned expansion
Having secured the trust of Brack.Alltron, Nomagic was asked to expand the fleet of robots. Multiple additional justPick deployments are planned in 2025 to scale the benefits and further build on the success of initial deployments.
High autonomy mode
Thanks to a special mode of operation called High Autonomy Mode, justPick robots work without any on-site support on Sundays, holidays and early mornings, when there is no staff in the warehouse. These additional autonomous shifts increase Brack.Alltron’s order processing capacity; making it easier to handle peak periods and accelerating delivery times.
